DeckCoderAI desktop beta — privacy notice 30 October 2026 DeckCoderAI is developed by Toji Leon. Contact hello@remylo.app with DeckCoderAI privacy in the subject for privacy questions. Local files and settings The app saves presentations, speaker notes, assets and version history on your computer. It also stores preferences, recent presentation paths, thumbnail caches, agent connection settings and recovery data in its local application profile. Recovery data and history can contain earlier content. Removing the app alone does not remove presentations or its profile. Folders you place in iCloud, OneDrive or another sync service are governed by that service's settings and policies. AI tools DeckCoderAI does not provide a hosted AI model. When you connect an external agent or paste an authoring brief into one, that tool can receive the content you share and the data its permitted tools read, including slides, notes or images. The AI provider's terms and privacy policy apply. MCP access can be closed in Agent access. Separate file and computer-control tools have their own permissions. AI subscriptions and usage fees are not included in the free desktop app. Network connections The app has no built-in analytics service or automatic crash-report upload. Presentations may load websites, remote assets, YouTube or Vimeo content. Those services receive network information such as your IP address and may process content or cookies under their own policies. A presentation can contain authored JavaScript that makes network requests. Local storage of a deck does not make all of its content offline or private. Open content you trust and check its external dependencies before presenting or sharing. Sharing and support Browser exports exclude speaker notes. Presentation snapshots include notes and local assets; PDF and PowerPoint exports may include notes depending on the export option. Inspect files before sharing. Support email is handled through the mailbox provider; send only the information needed to diagnose the problem, preferably a minimal example with private content removed. Support correspondence is used to answer requests and investigate issues. Ask the contact above about deletion of correspondence; applicable legal retention requirements may limit deletion. Deletion and updates You control your deck files and exported copies. The application profile is normally under ~/Library/Application Support/DeckCoderAI on macOS and %APPDATA%/DeckCoderAI on Windows. An upgraded installation may retain an older DeckCoder AI or HTML Presenter profile. Close the app and back up needed content before deleting a profile, including recovery data. Deleting local files does not remove copies already shared or held by cloud services. This beta uses manual downloads for updates. Website and download-host data handling must be described on the distribution website separately.
